Molly Moo is the true story of a lonely orphan calf who finally found happiness with a dear old cow named Sassafrason a farm in Mollymook, near Ulladulla, NSW. 

Sue Hays has spent a lifetime teaching young children and has a special interest in early language. The writer and illustrator of Molly Moo are old friends who live near the farm where the calf was born.  When they heard of her sad start in life and met Molly Moo, they felt compelled to tell her tale.

About the author - Sue Hays

Sue is the author of Molly Moo from Mollymook, Peppy the Paint from Pigeon House and Monty the Mutt from Milton. All her works are illustrated by long term friend Kay Barber, an accomplished water colour artist.

Sue lives near Milton, within sight of Pigeon House Mountain.

She has a special interest in early language and spent many years teaching young children.
